INVITATIONS TO TENDER
Context:
St Mary’s is located within a public green space on the inner ring road, within walking distance of the city centre and major transport hubs, and adjacent to Sheffield United football ground on Bramall Lane.
The park is a very popular place for the local community to take a moment and enjoy nature, chat to friends or simply to pass through. We understand it is considered to be relatively safe, and a little haven from the hustle and bustle.
St Mary’s church building and our Pavilion annexe building are increasingly used by a variety of groups and businesses for meetings, training and activities. We are delighted that interest in booking our spaces is on the rise. We are also reorganising and expanding our community offer, supporting those in need in our community.
Offer:
Recognising the potential for the opportunity to purchase an affordable artisan coffee and other quality refreshments on site, we are seeking an appropriate partner to operate a business on the grounds.
This is a new venture and we welcome interest from social enterprise initiatives to develop this offer with us.
It is our expectation the vendor would be sensitive to the diverse communities that we welcome to our services, and have a commitment to implementing their own, or our safeguarding procedures.
St Mary’s is working towards an Eco Church award and we would like to extend that consideration to all services we endorse by association.

• Anticipated hours of operation
• Potential food and drink offer and prices
• Ground rent
• Operational requirements / your method (ie gazebo, van or other)
• Environmental impact
• Experience/ willingness to learn about safeguarding and communities.
• Length of trial period
