Sheffield’s Women’s Interfaith Forum (WIF)

The next meeting of Sheffield’s Women’s Interfaith Forum (WIF) is on Sunday July 24th 1-3pm at St Mary’s Bramall Lane.
WIF was established in 2017 with the aim of creating a space for women of all faiths and none to be able to come together and have conversation. We began meeting shortly after the Manchester Arena bombing with the hope that by breaking down barriers and dispelling myths of each other’s beliefs and traditions we can build better relationships and understanding and a strong and safer community.
We meet together about once every 3-4 months and are led by a small inter faith steering group. We learn about each other’s faith traditions and have shared stories and songs as well as considering issues relating to women’s’ place in religion and what our faiths teach us about social responsibility.
We number about 30-50 women and meet across round tables and share food together. You would be very welcome to join us at our gathering on the 24th July – just come along!
