Angels of Hope

Angels of Hope

Angels of Hope
Throughout Advent & Christmas individuals have been writing prayers and messages of hope. These are now suspended as angels in the church.
The angels will be with us until Candlemas (traditionally the end of the Christmas Season). They act as guides and messengers for us as we begin to negotiate the New Year!
You are welcome to join St Mary’s for worship on a Sunday morning at 10.30am or our midweek prayers 9am on Monday and 12pm on Thursday.
Happy New Year!
“The Work of Christmas” by Howard Thurman’s
When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with their flocks,
the work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost,
to heal the broken,
to feed the hungry,
to release the prisoner,
to rebuild the nations,
to bring peace among the people,
to make music in the heart.
