St Mary’s: finding new ways of responding to the challenge of Covid 19

The Covid 19 crisis is creating new levels of food poverty and emerging mental health issues.
Each week we are delivering to over 600 individuals in Sheffield who have no access to food.
We have partnered with AgeUK and are providing food to vulnerable older people.
Our community chefs are transforming food destined for landfill into over 300 valued and delicious ready meals each week.

We need funding to help keep St Mary’s open. If you like what we are doing, please help and support us and spread the word.

Click on the link below to see one of the ways we are providing funding.

St Mary's Latest News

St Mary's Church is a lively, friendly and diverse gathering, which is open and welcoming to people of all ages and all backgrounds.

St Mary’s is a community centre in a deprived area of inner city Sheffield. We are a registered charity and social enterprise, generating a substantial amount of our core costs from conference and catering activities.

Situated near the city centre, but renowned for the quality of our gardens, St Mary’s offers a convenient and tranquil environment. We have secure parking, but are just 10 minutes walk from the train station with easy access to city centre hotels.

Unlike many consultancy firms we are also practitioners: immersed every day in the challenges of running a social enterprise and so our work is earthed in the real world. Take a look at some of the work we’ve done and please feel free to call Graham Duncan for an informal conversation if you think we might be helpful.
